Printing photographs at Creative Pictures

We still develop and print all types of colour AND black and white film to the highest of standards.

Don't send your films interstate to fully automated wholesale labs through Safeway, Coles and K-Mart, the labs don't KNOW who you are or even CARE who you are. They're never going to see you....ever.

We do care, and will always print your photos to your satisfaction. Our film processor is calibrated every day and only uses fresh chemicals that are computer monitored on constant basis. You can rest assured that your negatives will be cared for totally.

Our state of the art printer uses the tried and tested silver halide process ensuring the full saturation and depth of colour. We only use high quality photographic paper manufactured by Mitsubishi in Japan.(We do NOT use Chinese paper) Every print is assessed by our experienced staff to ensure the correct colour and density and REPRINTED if it's required.

Red eyes are removed without any extra charge or any input from you.

HOW'S THAT !

Anyone who's ever printed their own digital camera photographs at home will know just how time consuming it is, not to mention the difficulty in getting the colours right.

We understand that time is important and we have both and in-store solution with a number of kiosks and two very simple on-line printing services.

Of course with our in-store kiosks help is always at hand to offer advice and show you how, time has shown though, that within a couple of visits our customers no longer need our help, they just walk in, insert their card, follow the onscreen directions, order the prints and leave without having to wait for service.

However for those who don't have the time during normal shop hours, and that's most of us. We have two very simple home solutions. One requires the downloading of a small application (better for slower internet connections) and the other only requires you to log in to our special site and upload the images directly (perfect for higher speed connections, ADSL, satellite, cable). As you are ordering these at home, without staff input, we do offer SPECIAL prices.

At Creative Pictures we have the ability to print all enlargements on-site. Our printer uses only high quality archival paper designed to give you years of joy from looking at your favourite photograph hanging the wall, without the fear of fading or colour changes.

We use the same material for our window displays, these are in direct sunlight and show no sign of fading even after many months and years.

With all our enlargements we offer a mounting service where the photograph is mounted onto a board to ensure it remains flat when framed, there's is nothing worse than seeing a framed print and that has warped in the frame, it makes viewing difficult and annoying. This service is not very expensive.

Our enlargements can be made any size up to a metre wide, non standard sizes are our speciality, we can quote quickly and accurately. Printing is available from negatives, digital camera files, slide, transparencies and photographs. Once again red eyes are fixed as a matter of course, also mild spotting on faces.

It's now so easy to produce your carefully made panorama photos into long display prints perfect for "that space" on your wall. We can also join the images if you like, just bring them and and we'll give you a quote. We can practically print to any size, but be aware really long prints, over 1 metre can difficult and a little expensive to frame. One way of avoiding the difficulty and expense of framing is to have your panorama printed on high quality canvas, which is stretched over a lightweight timber frame aleviating the need for glass, we can suggest several options for this too.
